Before I begin telling you how much I love healthy living…I feel it is important to start at the beginning of my story, and to let you know that change is possible if you aren’t where you want to be! See that picture on the left…that was me in January 2014 (25 years old) when I decided to check myself into a drug treatment center. At that moment I had no hope and felt I would die an addict, and especially was not living a healthy life in any way. A month into my stay I was saved, and began my journey with God and my life completely changed (not all at once, but it has been a beautiful journey and process). I have had freedom from my addiction since this picture!! I began my health and fitness journey shortly after, and I have been so passionate about my health and sharing this with others ever since. I became so good at all things nutrition, fitness, and natural remedies for healing. About 3 months ago I received my Certified Nutrition Counselor Certification, but what I didn’t take the time to heal was my mind. I realized that I had lost myself along the way. Recently God has really showed me how to have freedom in all of the areas of health (which is not just exercise and what we put in our bodies), and now I am ready to share with you the tools that have been imparted to me on my journey to finding ME again!! And just to add… I do believe it is important what we put in our bodies, but we must be in line spiritually and mentally for it to give vitality to our bodies.

my amazing husband, Cristobol!
This man is my best friend and such an inspiration! I have watched him reach all of the goals he has set for himself, and he makes me feel that I can do the same. I have watched him prep and go on to do two bodybuilding competitions (putting his all into it) and now owning a thriving business (putting God at the center of it all), and all the while being an amazing husband and present dad to our two boys. He has always been supportive of every endeavor that I feel led to do and has backed me up 100%, while investing in my business ventures! He has made me realize that I shouldn’t take life too seriously…he is the fun one lol! He has shown me how to love and realize I can be myself and be vulnerable, and that the right people will love me. Thankful that he allows me to be ME!!
my boys!!
Jayden is almost 15 (like in 2 months), and Phoenix is 7! I always thought I wanted a little girl, but I am SO thankful I am a boy mom!! Jayden has always been my athletic child, like literally saying ball since he could talk. A couple of years ago he also started playing instruments, and I couldn’t believe how quickly he picked it up…he plays the piano, drums and recently picked up my guitar to teach himself! Oh yeah, and he boxes now…what does he not do?! Phoenix is my creative child, he runs and is active but sports aren’t specifically his thing. He will take pieces and parts that his dad gives him (I have to cut Cris off from giving him things because his room gets junky), and he will create and invent random stuff…it amazes me how his mind works! The best thing about both of them are their hearts, they genuinely care about other people. I definitely got lucky with these 2! I believe that children have so much to add to our lives and it isn’t just us teaching them, but my children teach me everyday how to become a better person. I believe it is important to let our children know that they can and do make a difference in the world, even at a young age! God uses them!!
